![]() The final leg of this trip required tire chains on the truck and trailer to
cross the Sierra Nevada Mountains en route from South Amherst Ohio
to Sacramento California. With Lake Tahoe at the top of this pass and Sacramento at the bottom Truckers are advised to "Let'em roll" to avoid overheating brakes on the thirty-five mile downhill grade.

![]() This 1932 26' Hackercraft Dolphin was picked up in Sacramento
California for delivery to its new owner in North Carolina. Due to its
value, it was necessary to transport across the southern route and avoid
crossing the Sierra Nevada's. Wild fires in New Mexico and Texas made
it necessary to delay a few days. This picture was take upon arrival after
this vintage beauty was unwrapped.
